At least I’m able to type!
So, in order to prepare for the Biggest Loser Challenge that I signed up for, I mentioned that my neighbor is going to get me going on the weight training. He came over this morning for the first time and we worked my arms tremendously. Today was more learning for me, and not what my normal routine will be like, but we worked my shoulders, a bit of back, triceps and biceps, and he also showed a few really cool things for abs and back that I had never seen before…it was awesome.
Thing is, my water bottle now weighs approximately 50 lbs. I’m so weak and shaky it’s crazy.
Clint is working a ton of overtime right now (16 hours today alone of JUST overtime), so I will be going to the gym around his schedule as many days a week as I can, and when I can’t, I found out today that I definitely have all I need in the basement where our weights are set up. I will also make sure that I keep up aerobic activity a few times a week to help warm up before workouts and as additional exercise.
This is going to help me SO much in losing this weight…I LOVE being challenged and knowing that I’m fighting for something, and even though I have done online challenges with other people, this is a bit different for me, as it’s ‘real’. I can SEE what the others are doing as well, and I KNOW I have a really good shot at being one of the top 3 women and could win! I have something to fight for and it’s SO freaking exciting.
So the challenge officially begins is just over a week. I have added a link on the right > for the challenge and will update that weekly, or whenever changes occur. I don’t know if there is a weekly weigh in at the Community Center or what, so I’ll update more when I know how it all works for sure!

I on my side really need to get started seriously too, i keep going to Spinning Classes with a passion but apart from that i was gonna start on a weightlifting routine too. But hm no, not quite! Anyways i’m going skiing and snowboarding in Austria the 10th March and until then i need to work on my legs a little.
I’ll come check your progress regularly ok?
