I lost 5.6 LBS.!!!!!!!! hee hee I’m a happy girl

I’m going to definitely stick to not touching my Flex Points again this week and see how next weeks weigh-in turns out…I have decided not to use my weigh-in night as a free night to not count points. I was doing that before and it just knocks me outta whack and I can’t stay on track I’m in such a great frame of mind to stick with this, that I don’t wanna blow it. So that is my plan for the next week

Once again I come here to chat about something because I had a brainstorm, and I sit in the chair and it’s GONE…I think the chair sucks it right outta me…

Weigh-In

Well, it’s WEIGH-IN day!!!!!! FINALLY…I am down down down and can’t WAIT to find out the ‘official’ amount tonight I have already had breakfast, and that will be it until weigh-in I will be back later to edit this and add my weigh-in info

6 week challenge

Today was another perfect OP day…Still haven’t touched my Flex Points. I think I will be sticking to that plan, and not use my Flex Points at all unless for some unforseen reason, I can’t plan ahead, or whatever. So only in a dire-need situation will I even THINK of touching them. My loss has really sped up this past week and I think that’s part of it. I’m BUSTIN for weigh-in day…LOL

We just finished doing some canning tonight. Since the Salsa is done (we will be making another batch soon though) we did some spaghetti sauce tonight We picked two 5-gallon buckets full of tomatoes from the garden today, and strained them, cooked it down added our ingredients (Clint made his own recipe and it’s AWESOME) and we got 18 Quarts of spaghetti sauce done today The lids are ‘popping’ as we speak I love that sound…makes me feel as though we accomplished something…I know I’m goofy…it’s just so nice to know that we planted those seeds, grew the plants, and can pick them and make our own food for PENNIES…it’s awesome.

Anyone who is reading this who knows a bit about, or has done any kind of a marathon can you please leave me a tag or comment with any info you may have on what I need to do to start training to participate in one? I am going to do some reading on the internet, but I have figured it is very reasonable that I can be close to goal by spring, and I want to have a goal to be in a marathon of some sort at that time PLEASE leave me some info thank you

Date Night

We had such a nice night tonight We got up early and went to a large outdoor flea market thing that was this weekend…found a couple cute things… LOVE garage sale-ing stuff

Then we came home, took the girls to my parents, and Clint and I had our date We went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner and YUUUUMMMM…I had only eaten 8 points before dinner (didn’t have dinner till almost 6:30…so I was STARVIN!!) so I had 20 points for going out tonight (STILL haven’t touched my Flex Points this week), and I did AWESOME. I ordered the Alice Springs Chicken…it’s 16 points. Well, after my salad (and dipping my fork in the dressing, instead of pouring it on…yay me!!) and just a few of Clint’s appetizer of Cheese Fries, I was already feeling full, so I only ate 1/2 my Chicken meal. So, I had points to spare even We went and walked around Lowe’s and Wal-Mart, and took the long way home, it was SO nice…came home and I had a LF Klondike sandwich for 2 points. So, I have 3 banked tonight, even AFTER going out for dinner Planning ahead is SUCH a life-saver I’m SO proud of myself this week, I just can’t stress that enough…I have truly even surprised myself.

I felt SO good when I was getting ready to go out tonight. I didn’t like the jeans I normally wear, as they are getting big, and I don’t like that ‘big clothes’ feeling anymore…so, I reached in my closet, grabbed another pair of jeans, and put them on…and the clincher?!?!?! THEY FIT!!! Now, let me give you just a bit of background on these jeans…the jeans that I wore, are 6 YEARS old…and yet, I have NEVER worn them! They are completely BRAND NEW. I bought these jeans (and another pair the same but lighter color) 6 years ago after I had lost weight, and before I realized I was FINALLY pregnant with Abbie, our first daughter. I bought the jeans, and never was able to wear them of course because of pregnancy. Well, I am now 10 lbs. lighter than I was then, and am JUST NOW able to wear them Also goes to show you what 2 pregnancies can do to your body. I’m below my pre-pregnancy weight and still am JUST being able to fit into clothes from then

It’s late and I’m chatty, so bear with me…LOL…

We were out today and one good thing happened. At the flea market, I had walked past a full-length mirror, and caught a glimpse of a not-so-skinny woman. I immediately felt ‘blah’ about myself of course, UNTIL I realized, it wasn’t even ME…it was the lady BEHIND me…ROFL…it was SO weird!!! The glimpse I caught was like seeing the ‘old’ me…and I immediately thought, ‘Man, and I thought I was beginning to see a difference’…made me realize how far I had come though

But then all night tonight on our date…I was feeling pretty good about being dressed nice, out in public with ‘my man’…then I would catch that reflection of myself in a window, or mirror at the store…oh, and in the surveylance camera in Gander Mountain…and I do have to say that me not being happy with what saw is a GOOD thing…I’m GLAD that I’m not happy with what I saw…I don’t want to be back where I was 6 months ago, and beginning to get comfortable with how I look because I had lost so much weight initially. I’m NOT comfortable with me and I AM going to keep doing this until I GET to where I want to be.

WEEK - END

Can’t believe it’s the weekend already! I’m so excited to get next weeks weigh-in here I am in such a positive frame of mind, and I have been doing so awesome sticking with my points. I haven’t used ANY of my flex points yet this week, and I’m finding myself looking for snacks before bed to fill my points again. I don’t want to jinx myself, but I am very happy with how it’s going.

I haven’t even had any sabotaging thoughts at all lately. You know how you have something to eat, and figure, well, THAT was a bad choice, or something that might put you over points, so you figure, ‘Oh well, I already blew it, I might as well have (whatever)’…not ONE time have these thoughts crossed my mind…I have stuck to journaling every single thing BEFORE I eat it, exercising like a fool, and the scale is, once again, my friend…I am sure to be pretty happy come Tuesday night

Clint and I are going on a ‘date’ tomorrow night. No kids That doesn’t happen very often at ALL anymore, so we are going to Erie to go to dinner, and possibly a movie. We may just wander the mall after dinner or something, but we will have a few hours of just US We need to sit tonight and figure out where we are going so that I can get Points figured for my meal ahead of time, so I can figure accordingly during the day tomorrow…I can’t wait

I just joined a new group called Country Friends Losing Weight. I will have a link to it later on tonight so that you can check it out if you are interested. I have heard the group is amazing, and it’s always so nice to have as many supporters on a journey like this as you can. So I’m excited about that also

Salsa & Sickies

I’m SO hooked on salsa right now!!! My husband makes home-made, with ingredients right from our garden And I can’t quit eating it…I swear since Saturday I have eaten 3 jars by myself!!! I have used it mixed with mushrooms and put that in taco shells with lettuce, AWESOME. I’m eating it plain with some tortilla chips, crackers, or baked lays…doesn’t matter…I’m CRAVING it!!! I have heard (not sure if it’s true or not) but that spicy food speeds up your weight loss…so I BETTER have a good loss next week

BOTH of my girls are sick Kept Abbie home from school today, and they both have been fevering, Megan worse with fevers, but both with cuh-cuh noses, and froggy voices…Dr. can’t see us till morning as they are completely booked, so hopefully we won’t have any trips to the ER tonight

I stuck with my eating last night, but did finish my points. Not even 1/2 point over though Right at my target, and scale is already down today…not holding my breath, but I am doing awesome Just need to keep the partying to a minimum

Well, Meggie’s up again crying, so I need to grab her…hope you all are doing great!!!

Weigh-IN

Just a quick post…wanna see what ALCOHOL can do to your body???? ROFL…I was up, but ONLY up 0.6 lbs. So no biggie…1/2 lb. is nothing and I KNOW what I did wrong this week, and usually on my weigh-in days, I don’t count points after meeting and it’s my *free* day, but today, NOPE!!! I have only used 12 pts. so far today and am planning on having about 6 more, and then that is IT for today…I know I will be WAY under points, but oh well. I just got back from walking just over a mile too after meeting, so I’m feeling good I will be back in a bit to update my regular site with my weigh in on my chart and all Lay-ta!!!

Been awhile!!

Wow, I hadn’t realized it had been so long since I have been here…just been busy

We went Saturday morning to a large fair not far from here, spent most of the day, partied Saturday night, and again on Sunday, we had a party at our house. Needless to say, Saturday AND Sunday night I completely blew my points with alcohol, but had fun doing it I had PMS SOOO incredibly bad, I thought my husband was going to go live in the garage…but I downed a Midol and had a few drinks, and felt ALOT better…So, the scale isn’t very friendly today, but I have done awesome food wise and food choices all week If I don’t see a loss tomorrow, I’m seriously blaming it on the alcohol. I exercised EVERY day last week, even walking the fair on Saturday and not eating a THING there except for a tiny bit of Fat Free weird ice cream…the hotter it is out, the more frozen it becomes, it was cool.

Well, it’s late, and I’m gonna get some much-needed rest…I will be here again tomorrow after my weigh-in NIGHTY!!!
