You guys, thank you SO much for all of the great comments being left…sorry I’ve been AWOL here for a few days…QUITE a few days I guess. Not a bad absence for sure. I’m now down to 256.5. (I just updated my stats and saw that this latest loss has put me just a tad over 40 lbs lost, total!!!!!!! AAAANNNDDDDD….I am now officially in Obese Class 1…may sound a bit SAD to be excited about but when I started out in an Obese Class 3 this is AWESOME) That was SO awesome to see on the scale. It’s slowly but surely moving down I have been so active lately, and not just with intentional exercise. We bought Abbie and Megan a horse this past Saturday. You have NO idea how much of a horse nut Abbie is, and she’s transforming Megan into the same It’s so cute…they can’t just play like little girls, they are constantly acting EXACTLY like horses. So they are just in love. So, picture this…we now have 6 cows (4 big cows, 2 new babies), 8 baby pigs (we will only have them for about 5 more months), and now the horse. Can you see why I’ve been busy? I never pictured myself having a small farm like we do. I definitely don’t consider myself a ‘farmer’ in the least, but it’s SO much fun having all of the animals and interacting with them and getting to know their personalities and working in the barn. We all absolutely love it.

So that’s what’s been keeping me busy. My eating has been phenomenal, stopping well before 6:00 p.m. I’ve been getting in more than my fair share of water, and again, staying very active. The food choices have been becoming easier for me. I’m actually CRAVING veggies. Yesterday at work we had a couple of guys come in from the company I buy our steel from, for a business lunch. So we had lunch delivered to work, and I had a choice of anything from pizza to awsome sandwiches to…you name it basically. I chose a veggie wrap with a side of cole slaw. The wrap was FILLED with nothing but veggies; mushrooms, red peppers, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and something else I can’t remember. But I was craving something veggie, SO bad and this was awesome. I ate 1/2 of my cole slaw and pitched the rest, and could only eat 1/2 of my wrap, so I had the other 1/2 for my lunch today. My food choices have been that good with pretty much everything I’m proud of myself, and it’s so motivating to see the scale moving again. I was at such a stall for the longest time and fighting with the same 3-4 lbs. And now I’ve broken through whatever was stalling me. I definitely think that keeping the carb intake to a minimum is a big reason.

Anyways, I hate to bore you with all the daily info happening here, just wanted to fill you in on my absence. I am going to try and post more often now and keep this site more up to date with my stats and all, and get some of my humor back also. I don’t want this place to be boring. I want to keep it light and informative and motivating…so the ‘old’ me will be here from now on

Oh, and I promise to get a new picture up soon. I don’t think I ever did reply to those of you asking for a new one. There probably isnt’ much (good) change in what the photos will show, especially right now because I’m trying to grow my hair out a bit and it’s in this stupid flippy-don’t-wanna-do-nuttin stage…so we’ll see Maybe on a good day, I’ll snap ya one and post it
