New gadget…

I have been searching the net for a couple of years now looking for BodyBuggs, and the items that are very similar but not nearly as high in price. I started looking when I found out that was what the Biggest Losers were using. BodyBugg is so high priced, plus you have to have a monthly membership to track your progress.
I finally got up the nerve and spent $99.00 on a FitBit, and ordered it for myself today. Here’s what the website says:

The Fitbit accurately tracks your calories burned, steps taken, distance traveled and sleep quality. The Fitbit contains a 3D motion sensor like the one found in the Nintendo Wii. The Fitbit tracks your motion in three dimensions and converts this into useful information about your daily activities.
You can wear the Fitbit on your waist, in your pocket or on undergarments. At night, you can wear the Fitbit clipped to the included wristband in order to track your sleep. Anytime you walk by the included wireless base station, data from your Fitbit is silently uploaded in the background to Fitbit.com.
Even better? You can upload/monitor your activity/food for free! The online site costs nothing! When you walk within 15 feet of the base, it automatically uploads the info! < insert gadget geek exclamation here >

I will post a review as soon as I receive it. I can’t wait!!!
