What a loser!

Yep, down 3 more this week for a total of 36 lbs. in 5 weeks.
This past week I have been wanting the carbs a bit more, so this week my goal is focusing more on my proteins and fluids. I’m feeling amazing, other than the hour or so after I eat. The past few days, the food just feels like it is sitting there, and it’s such an uncomfortable feeling. I’m going to cut the small amount I do eat in 1/2 and eat more often and see if that helps relieve that feeling.
I have been doing the ‘free step’ on the Wii Fit while watching tv. That usually gives me a good 30 minutes of stepping. And I’m also doing my Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile DVD at least 3 times per week.
My posts are so boring lately, but I’m really just trying to focus on the basics still, so there isn’t a whole lot to report!

Just checking in, Lisa! Congrats on 239, lady!!! I’ve noticed that even now, over 5 years after wls, I can only eat 25-50% of carbs compared to meat. Which is to say that if I eat a small/medium baked potato and nothing else, then I could eat perhaps 25-50% of it without feeling uncomfortable afterwards and like it may be stuck. On the other hand, I can sit down and eat a 10-12oz ribeye steak without feeling overfull at all and never have even a moment of that stuck feeling. Of course, these are simple items of carbs vs proteins, and the other things I eat have various levels of success but you definitely do learn as you go how to cut back or even learn to avoid having the overfull/stuck issue, since it’s the exact thing that you went forward with all of this to accomplish! :-) *hug*
